Safeguarding
The Two Rivers Benefice is committed to safeguarding as an integral part of the life and service of our churches. We will strive to create and maintain environments that are safer for all, promote well-being and prevent abuse. We are also using Trauma Informed Practice principals to help ensure that our worship feels safe and accessible. (www.solaceandgrace.co.uk/trauma-informed-practice) This is a shared responsibility across the whole church.
We encourage appropriate safeguarding training, and work together to ensure that all who undertake this training are properly supported. We have clear guidance about reporting any issues, which will be dealt with quickly and appropriately. (please see below)
As part of our safeguarding responsibilities, we are dedicated to supporting survivors of all types of abuse, carers, families and professionals, and are the home church for United in Solace and Grace.
Reporting abuse and finding support
