Prayers for you
Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your disciples,
'I am with you always'.
Be with me today, as I offer myself to you.
Hear my prayers for others and for myself,
and keep me in your care. Amen
Loving God,
You are always with us and give us all we need
to be your church in Suffolk.
Help us , we pray, to give as we have received
abundantly, generously, and joyfully,
that our worship and our service
may bear witness to your kingdom of unfailing love.
in the name of your son, who gave himself for us
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
O God, always more ready to hear than we are to pray, give us more than we desire or deserve, pour on us your mercy and forgiveness and give us those good things we are not worthy to ask for except through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. Amen

For All Souls Day
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;
he restores my soul.
He leads me in right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley
I fear no evil;
for you are with me; your rod and your staff—
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long
Loving God,
We thank you for the lives of our loved ones who have died.
We ask you to care for those who are missing them at this time.
May we always remember your promise
that, one day we will all be together in heaven.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Grant to us Lord God,
peace of mind in remembrance
comfort in our sorrow
and the assurance of your grace
not just for us
but for those we have loved and lost
for the sake of your son Jesus Christ
who beat death and won for us
the promise of eternal life.
Amen
God is our shelter and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
So, we will not be afraid, even when our foundations are shaken and all about is violent and tossed about.
There is a place in my heart that belongs to God above, and that brings him joy.
He is there, and nothing can take him away.
He will answer my every need.
Evil is confounded by his power and love.
The Lord Almighty is with us and the God of Jacob is our refuge. Amen

When the talking stops, we can pray.
When the talking stops, we can hear Your voice.
Prayers for children and those not so young
Thank you, God,
for giving me the things I need;
the sun, the rain, and the apple seed.
The Lord is good to me.
