Lay Eder

Jayne Jones

I’m Suffolk born and bred, I grew up in Capel, and moved with my family to Stutton in 2009.  My two children went to Stutton Primary then Holbrook Academy.  While being a regular attendee and W4A since moving to Stutton I didn’t come to faith until 2023 when I was baptised and confirmed at the RHS.

Having found God, I can now say with confidence that Jesus is the centre of my life.  I’m a lay elder for the benefice, and the lead on Eco Church for St Peter’s.  I also have the honour of being Deanery Synod Rep for St Peters and the Two Rivers Diocesan Synod Rep.  I’m in training to be an evangelist so that I can ‘go out and make disciples’ as Jesus told us, but more importantly because I believe that knowing God’s love in your life is the best thing that could happen to you!
